SupaWood® is PG Bison’s exceptional medium-density fibreboard (MDF). By nature SupaWood® is dense, stiff and perfectly flat. It offers excellent structural strength with superior screw-holding capability and machinability because it has no noticeable grain, making it perfect wood for construction and application in almost any project.
Thanks to the smooth surface without internal voids offered by MDF there is no need to worry about knots, bumps or kinks disturbing its surface. It takes well to cutting, so cut edges are smooth and free from splinters and voids.
The nature of SupaWood® means that you can create decorative edges and detailed designs without fear of the wood chipping, splitting or splintering. This combined with the fact that SupaWood® is an affordable wood based panel makes it a frontrunner in the list of decorative panels available on the market, especially when it comes to cabinet doors, flat panelled doors and much more.
SupaWood® takes exceptionally well to being painted and works well with glue, much better than solid wood. This paired with the fact that its water resistant qualities can be heightened by using the proper treatments applied to its surface means that you can even use SupaWood® for your bathroom cabinets.
